The doors will open at 6pm, giving guests time to explore the house and get comfortable before the talk begins at 6.30pm.

This fascinating exhibition explores the history of J.M.W. Turner’s painting Margate(?), from the Sea (1835–40), and explains the complex legacy of his will and the large body of work known as the Turner Bequest.
This lecture series will give the opportunity to dive deeper into the story of Turner’s bequest, his legacy today, and the relation with Margate.
Join us for a relaxed and sociable evening learning watercolour techniques, colour mixing and tips to create your own floral art in the intimate setting of Turner’s House in Twickenham.
