Book TicketsSpend a relaxed evening creating your own decorative patterns inspired by the beautiful wallpapers at Turner’s House. Using a variety of materials, including pencils, coloured pencils, and paint, you’ll explore colour, shape, and repetition to design your own unique artwork.
Enjoy two glasses of fizz and friendly conversation in Turner’s own sitting room. This two-hour workshop is an informal, led class that encourages creativity and experimentation.
All levels welcome.
This fascinating exhibition explores the history of J.M.W. Turner’s painting Margate(?), from the Sea (1835–40), and explains the complex legacy of his will and the large body of work known as the Turner Bequest.
This lecture series will give the opportunity to dive deeper into the story of Turner’s bequest, his legacy today, and the relation with Margate.
