Community Projects

Wellbeing community projects that use creativity to support connection and self-expression. In partnership with local groups, we create welcoming spaces for sharing and making together.

Tales & Travels

Each year at Turner’s House we run our community workshops “Tales & Travel”, supported by the Sanctuary Fund and Refugees Welcome in Richmond. In 2026, the sessions explore the theme “What We Carry & What We Left Behind,” inviting participants to reflect on the objects, memories, and—most importantly—the people connected to experiences of moving to a new country. Through a range of artistic media, these workshops create a welcoming space where stories, emotions, and personal journeys can be shared and expressed creatively.

Mind UK

Our Mind wellbeing workshops, delivered in partnership with Mind UK and supported by Richmond Borough Mind, offer a welcoming and relaxed space for creativity and connection. Through a variety of artistic activities, participants are encouraged to explore self-expression, build confidence, and support their wellbeing. These sessions focus on process rather than outcome, creating a supportive environment where everyone can take part at their own pace and enjoy the benefits of creativity together.
