About this event

Join us to help shape a map of St Margarets! To celebrate the 150th anniversary of St Margarets train station, a map of St Margarets is being created and will be displayed on platform 3 of the train station.

The workshop will be led by Will Parker, a local artist who is putting the map together. The workshop will take place in the garden of Turner’s House, and an introduction to the history of the house and its great designer will be provided.

Spend a relaxed evening creating your own decorative patterns inspired by the beautiful wallpapers at Turner’s House. Using a variety of materials, including pencils, coloured pencils, and paint, you’ll explore colour, shape, and repetition to design your own unique artwork.
